First, to fix something, you have to know how stuff work. The power windows are mechanical and electrical system. To check electrical problem, you have to know the curcuit. The pw get electricity from battery. So let’s start from battery. The positive battery post connect to fuse box (which house pw fuse)by wires. If pw fuse is brown, non of pw will work. From fuse to pw control swiths is next step. The wires between those might fail, specially just behind door hinges on driver’s side. If that the case, pw might work sometime, because the wires are closing circuit sometimes. The pw control swith might have internal short. The pw control swiths supply electricity to pw motors which mechanically up and close windows.(Actually it is more comlicated than this but for now.)THe pw motor is connect to vechicle body which lead to the battery negative post. You press pw control swiths and check whether or not noise come behind door panels. If it dose, pw motor is reciving electricity. That mean you have to take door panels, and have to check mechanical parts. The likely couse of this is faulty regulator and motor assembly. The metal wire which pull window up and down is likely messed up. If no noise come from hehind panel, you have t check curcuit. To test curcuit, you might get wireing diagram from auto parts store, because you have to know which colors of wires are for pw curciut. Get test light and prove from battery to pw control unit. Generaaly speaking, if regulator,pw motor, control swiths are faulty, need to replace. All wiring between components are repairable. Tools you mignt needs are screwdrivers, test light, wire cutting, wire crimping, wiring diagram, rachet and sokets. Some advise, if you need take door panels, never force it. Most of cars have hidden screws that holding panels. I know people crack panel trims while trying to take the panel. Well, to be honest, I did crack some. And be careful not your finger cought between window and regular. I was putting window on regulator holding fixer and sametime pressing swiths.
